Gearing Up for The University of New Mexico’s Most Impactful Philanthropic Event.

(Albuquerque, NM) On February 21, 2024, The University of New Mexico hosts UNM Big Give, a celebration of philanthropy bringing together UNM alumni and friends from across the globe for 24 hours to support a variety of academic, health care, athletic, cultural, and student programs that make up its diverse community.  

"UNM Big Give opens doors of opportunity for our Lobo Community to become involved in philanthropy outside of traditional efforts. A week from now, UNM Big Give will showcase the support we have for our students, researchers, patients, and the entire university.", stated Jeff Todd, UNM Foundation President, and CEO.

UNM Big Give begins on February 21 at midnight and continues for 24 hours.  Individuals have the opportunity to support any area they are passionate about. The Student Health and Counseling Center, UNM Grand Challenge, and Patient Care are examples of the many funds featured during UNM Big Give.

Individuals are asked to support UNM Big Give at unmbiggive.unmfund.org. Alternatively, Individuals may donate when shopping at any UNM Food location starting February 12 through UNM Big Give. They may attend the Men’s Basketball game against Colorado State on February 21 or participate in various other events connected to the Giving Day.

In 2023, UNM Big Give collectively received $958,544 from 3,075 donors. This was a record-breaking event.
